This was the first full-scale 12 piece DFMI. 7’ tall and 44’ long this to me is inspiration on another level. For me DFMI represents perseverance and finding peace in the mountains while distance running. Before my bipolar diagnosis I could only find some form of clarity after hours of running out my demons. I hope you enjoy this piece.

This piece has not yet been made. Yours would be the first of this series. This piece is 5’ tall and 15’ long. The images are renderings. Don’t Fence Me In represents the mountains, the place where I found a bit of clarity in the distance trail running before my diagnosis of bipolar. It is made of corten weathering steel. This piece will continue to darken over time to a uniform dark rust color.
